Bought by present owner in 2010 in poor but roadworthy condition and restored over five years. This car was first supplied in the U.K. and has all original matching engine, gearbox, chassis and registration numbers. Work is ongoing with bodywork and interior still to be completed.
The Series 1 E Type is easily recognised by the glass covered headlamp cowls., and was made from 1961 to 1967. This original design is considered the best, as later changes were made to comply with American safety legislation and to economise on the cost of production, both factors detracting from the unparalleled design which Enzo Ferrari described as " the most beautiful car ever made "
